Job Summary
As a Line Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and plating food with consistency, speed, and care. You’ll work alongside chefs and fellow cooks in a clean, organized, and respectful kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure all dishes leave the kitchen in a timely and visually appealing manner.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
- Assist with prep work and restocking as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen culture.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of line cook or kitchen experience in a restaurant setting.
- Solid understanding of kitchen equipment, techniques, and safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Team-player attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work eveningss, weekends, and holidays.
- Must speak English and or /Spanish.
